One of the biggest improvements from Far Cry 5 to 6 in my opinion is that you really do get to engage enemies on your own terms. Far Cry 5 was constantly throwing combat at you. You couldn't drive around for 30 seconds without running into cultists in trucks and getting shot at. It was frustrating and terribly unrealistic.
But I feel like that's kinda the point in far cry games (although 6 has done it most poorly, imo). You always seem to play someone who is just one bad day away from becoming a psychotic killer and you're thrown into an environment that does more to support that than stop it.
